REPRESSION formed in 1982. The band's debut demo was followed by a track on the compilation album 'CBR II" in 1984. A further demo in 1987 'Rock This Night away' continued the band's progress up to the first album 'Animal Raw', this outing including a cover of GOLDEN EARRING's 'Radar Love'. The 'Germany Rocks' album was released without permission of the band. The recordings were made in 1986 and had been recorded in just three days! During August of 2002 the REPRESSION line-up, replacing lead vocalist Jörg Gast with American Mike Tirelli of HOLY MOTHER and BURNING STARR and re-titled MESSIAH'S KISS issued the 'Prayer For The Dying' album.
