Krefeld, North Rhine-Westphalia progressive Metal band created during 1991. The demos 'Vernissage' and 'Candid' debuted the band in 1996. AFM Records contracted the group for the 1998 album 'Intensiv'.

VERNISSAGE members guitarist Jens Pesch, bassist Bernd Gross and drummer Klaus Spangenberg would, with the latter adopting a lead vocal role, unite with ex FERNGULLY guitarist Robert Balner to create retro Thrash Metal band BLOOD RED ANGEL in the late 90s. Klaus Spangenberg also featured with CRIKEY, COMMOTION, CUMSHOT (as 'Manni Lullemann') and FRAME OF MIND.
