Biography

German Glamsters VAMP formed in Bonn, North Rhine-Westphalia during 1985. The group debuted with a four track demo featuring' Lonely Nights', 'What About Love', 'Wasted Time' and 'Down And Dirty' before eventually being picked up by Atlantic Records. The label was responsible for the release of the quartet's debut album, 'The Rich Don't Rock', in 1989. Bassist Ingo Farrano, of WEIRD KONG and THE COMPANY, was replaced by Oliver Scholz.

Five year's on, drummer Dicki Fliszar was enjoying far more success as a member of rising British outfit SKIN. Fliszar also performed drum duties with BRUCE DICKINSON.
