Bielefeld based Gothic Metal band XANDRIA, mentored by guitarist / keyboard player Marco, debuted in 2000 with the EP 'Kill The Sun'. The band signed to the Drakkar label in 2002. Headline German dates in November of 2004 saw Finnish Goth-metallers ENTWINE as support. Bassist Roland would be superseded by the AVELON credited Nils Middelhauve. XANDRIA spent early 2005 crafting a new album entitled 'India', this opus charting at no. 30 in Germany on its release in September.

The group teamed up with VISIONS OF ATLANTIS and Thrashers REGICIDE for the February 2006 'Romantic Darkness' German tour. The band played alongside STREAM OF POSITION and ANATHEMA at the Circo Volador in Mexico City on October 14th.
