Munich based Electro-Trip Metal "Neue Deutsche Härte" band EISBRECHER ("Icebreaker"), fronted by former MEGAHERZ singer Alexx Wesselsky and guitarist / programmer Noel Pix, debuted with an eponymous independent album in January 2004. Strangely themed around nautical pursuits, EISBRECHER live performances often found Wesselsky suitably adorned in sailing gear onstage.

The band signed to AFM Records in May 2006. EISBRECHER released the first preceding single, 'Leider', in July. A second single, 'Vergissmeinnicht', followed in August accompanied by a video filmed inside the historic walls of Nürnberg's castle tower. 'Antikörper', released in October, debuted on the German national charts at number 85.
