The German based MESSIAH'S KISS is actually a re-incarnation of 80s Heavy Metal band REPRESSION replacing original lead singer Jörg Gast with none other than Mike Tirelli of HOLY MOTHER and BURNING STARR repute. Guitarist Alexander Hitz also has credits with HARD TO HANDLE. The band promoted the debut 'Prayer For The Dying' album with a European support tour to DORO.

Recording during November of 2003 for the 'Metal' album saw BRAZEN ABBOT guitarist NIKOLO KOTZEV handling production duties.

In 2005 Mike Tirelli would front veteran act RIOT for their appearance at the February 2005 'Atarfe Vega Rock' festival in Granada, Spain. The band entered Arena 20 studios in Hannover during November to craft a new album with ACCEPT and VICTORY guitarist Hermann Frank acting as producer. 'Dragonheart' was set for February 2007 release.
