In 1990 SINNER mainman Mat Sinner released his first solo album. It also spawned two single releases. Musicians included guitarists Alex Beyrodt (ex-WILD AXES and SHORTINO) and Tom Naumann (ex-FREEZE FRAME and PRIVACY), keyboard player Frank Rössler, together with drummer Tommy Resch. The same line up reformed SINNER to issue the 1992 album 'No More Alibis' on Mausoleum and a subsequent string of further releases. Sinner would also front up the highly successful nineties Metal band PRIMAL FEAR. Alex Beyrodt later created THE SYGNET and SILENT FORCE.

In September 2008 AFM Records announced the signing of Mat Sinner and SILENT FORCE, SINNER and PRIMAL FEAR guitarist Alex Beyrodt's latest band project VOODOO CIRCLE. For an eponymous album they would be joined by singer David Readman, of PINK CREAM 69, drummer Mel Gaynor, citing credits with SIMPLE MINDS, GARY MOORE, BRIAN MAY and SAMSON plus keyboard player Jimmy Kresic.
