Biography

Singer Oliver Hartmann, a man quoting credits with HEAT, MERLIN, SPIDER, AT VANCE, AVANTASIA, AINA, HANZ DAMF and GENIUS, issued his inaugural solo album 'Out In The Cold' in April 2005 on the Italian frontiers label. Produced by Sascha Paeth the record saw contributions from PARADOX bassist Armin Donderer and former MICHAEL SCHENKER GROUP drummer Bodo Schopf. Hartmann also made time to guest on DUSHAN PETROSSI'S IRON MASK's 'Hordes Of The Brave' opus. In November 2005 Armin Donderer joined FREEDOM CALL.

HARTMANN provided support for TOTO on their European shows, in Italy, Germany and Hungary, in the summer of 2006. A second solo album, 'Home' again produced by Sascha Paeth, was wrapped up in August. Recording roster comprised Hartmann, guitarist Mario Reck, bass player Armin Donderer, keyboard player Jürgen Wüst plus the KHYMERA, TWINSPIRITS and GENIUS credited drummer Dario Ciccioni. The album was issued in January 2007 via Frontiers Records in Europe and King Records in Japan.
