Melodic Metal act DIVINUS was brought to life during 1992 at the hands of vocalist Daniel Ott and guitarist Gitarrist Christian Herrle. The initial formation would also include a rhythm section of bass player Florian Stegmann and drummer Jochen Lauer. Before long Thomas Bauer took over on bass and David Bingenheimer took command of the drum position. Keyboards would be introduced into the band courtesy of Miriam Nabinger. At this stage the group took on the title DIVINUS.

Further personnel changes saw drums delegated to Matthias Mayer whilst the bass slot went to Matthias Klaes then Till Pinnow. Nabinger bowed out too and DIVINUS plugged the keyboard vacancy first with Volker Cullmann then Steffen Seel. Matthias Klaes also made a return on bass.
