CIRCLE OF PAIN was borne out of the 1994 act TIPSY SLUT. Following 1996's TIPSY SLUT record 'Borrowed Time' guitarists Gee Kay and Dirk Kramer would effect the transition to CIRCLE OF PAIN.

The 2001 opus 'Paradox Of Destitution- a hard hitting concept affair based on a tragic suicide- saw production from Bobby Altvater. Live promotion included supports to SKYCLAD in October.
