Biography
Southampton Hard Rock act TOUCHÉ featured the erstwhile FURY twins guitarist Mark Owers and bassist Steve Owers, both also formerly in AFTER HOURS along with keyboard player Graham Collett and singer MARK THOMPSON-SMITH. TOUCHÉ would evolve into LIONSHEART as MARK THOMPSON-SMITH exited in favour of former GRIM REAPER and ONSLAUGHT frontman Steve Grimmett. This act, with the Owers siblings, Collett and drummer Anthony Christmas, cut one eponymous 1993 album. The union did not last though and Grimmett soon forged an all new LIONSHEART roster for successive albums.
MARK THOMPSON-SMITH would join IDOL RICH and London AOR veterans PRAYING MANTIS before striking out solo for the 1998 album 'A Far Cry From New Jersey'.
