Biography

In 1986 former STAMPEDE, MAGNUM and GRAND SLAM guitarist Laurence Archer cut a solo album, entitled 'L.A.', at Herne Place Studio, Sunningdale with co-producer Martin Adams. His studio band included drummer Zak Starkey, son of Ringo Starr and a former member of THE NEXT, MONOPACIFIC, John Entwistle's THE ROCK and NIGHTFLY, bassist Gary Liedermann and MAGNUM and GRAND SLAM keyboard player Mark Stanway.

The album only saw a release in Japan. Subsequently Archer formed LA SECRET before joining UFO in 1990.
