MELEK THA

Biography

A one man Black ambient endeavour of Ludo Lejeune (a.k.a. 'Lord Evil'), owner of Evil Omen Records. Creating MELEK THA in 1995 Lejeune operates in a Darkwave / Industrial arena utilising samples to create bleak musical landscapes. Lejeune would debut the project through Adipocere Records with the 1996 album 'Astrum Argentinium'.

The American Solipsism label would release 1999's 'Post Nuclear Race' but as a strict limited run of 100 copies. The 2000 album 'Dehumaniser' would again be restricted but this time to a more generous 400 copies. Even rarer are privately issued variants that come with a bonus CD of extra tracks 'Part VIII: Sulfurik Vortex', 'Part IX: Hybrid Tumor' and 'Part X: This Is My Hell, Purge The World'.

The 2001 opus 'The Sulfurik Vortex' would, in a now established tradition, be restricted to a paltry 100 copies. MELEK THA issued a privately pressed release 'Armageddon Theory' during November of the same year which would see cover versions of SIELWOLF's 'Embryo', 47 ASHES 'The Mask' and NON's 'Total War'.
