Lahti Death Metal combo KILL THE ROMANCE originally featured DAMNGOD and BEFORE THE DAWN bassist Toni Broman. Guitarist Antti Kokkonen, guitarist Tomi Luoma, bass player Raimo Posti and drummer Mika Tanttu also hold ties to DROWNED IN LIFE. Kokkonen and Tanttu also have association with PROFANE OMEN whilst Tanttu is ex-BEFORE THE DAWN. Singer Ville Hovi is involved with DOWNFALL whilst Tomi Luoma has SOLACIDE credentials.

KILL THE ROMANCE first put out an eponymous EP during August 2004. 'Logical Killing Project' followed in June 2005. After issue of a five track promotional session dubbed 'Cyanide' the band signed with Locomotive Music in October 2006. The resulting album, entitled 'Take Another Life', emerged in April 2007.
