Jyväskylä based, Metallic edged Stoners PLUTONIUM ORANGE were forged in early 2000 debuting with the 'Fruit Of The Doom' demo the same year. Previously drummer Pasiu Pasanen had been involved with Black Metal unit MORNINGSTAR plus Death Metal bands CLAYFORGE and MURDER IN ART. Pasanen and guitarist Juha Raivio, another former MURDER IN ART man and previous to that with WATERFRONT WEIRDOS, also operate a Doom Metal band side venture SWALLOW THE SUN in league with FUNERIS NOCTURNUM personnel. Raivio also features in EMBRAZE.
