TO SEPARATE THE FLESH FROM THE BONES is a 2003 Grindcore project assembled anonymously by members of AMORPHIS and H.I.M.. Retaining their secrecy the band projected an album 'For Those About To Rot' for Autumn 2004 issue. The band comprised ex-AMORPHIS man Pasi Koskinen ('Herr Archstein') on vocals and guitar, AMORPHIS bassist Niclas Etelävuori ('Rot Weiler') and H.I.M. drummer Mika "Kaasu" ("Gas Lipstick") Karppinen ('Pus Sypope').
