Helsinki Hard Rock outfit SPIHA, fronted by Henri Lönnrot (a.k.a. 'Henry Lee Rock') was founded during October 1998. Band members included guitarists Timo Paavola ('Daemon P.A. Volume') and Mikko Juntunen ('Junza Highwatt'), of PUMP and FISH FACES, bassist Henri Fagerholm ('Bomber'), keyboard player Ilkka Pajunen (Ilectric) and drummer Juhana Rantala (Ringo Deathstarr), previously a member of H.I.M.. First product would be the 2001 EP ' Toothhelmet'. The Rock Frequency label issued Jukka Puurula produced debut album 'Egoreactor', featuring Jyrki 69 of THE 69 EYES on the song 'Samurai Of Sound', in April 2003. Second album 'Spiritual Hallucination' followed in April 2005.

SPIHA frontman Henry Lee Rock, as Henry Lee Roots, forged Gothic Rock outfit SONIC ROOTS in union with GANDALF, CHAOSBREED and MANNHAI drummer Nalle Ȫsterman (a.k.a. Björn Again Electric) in mid 2005. That September SPIHA folded.
