JUMALATION, meaning 'Godless' in the Finnish tongue, is a Helsinki Thrash side-project of Pedro Anthares of FORÇA MACABRA, KUOLEMA and VIIMEINEN KOLONNA. Founded in the summer of 1999 the band fell into place quite quickly as Anthares gathered some like-minded friends from other bands. German guitarist, Heiko Hate, also plays in the German Death Metal band DEMENTIA. Bassist Esteban Genocido and drummer Carlos De Gigilo are members of the Black Metal band ACABÓ EL SILENCIO.

United with a common vision to create an retro-Thrash act, the quartet entered the Moonman Studios in Helsinki in May of 2005. The resulting two-day session produced the three song 'Jumalation Thrash Attack' EP. The band also contributed a couple of tracks to local, various artists CD entitled, 'Metal On Metal: Finnish Underground Metal Compilation'.
