Helsinki technical Death Metal band forged by guitarist Sami Raatikainen in October 2002, hooking up with bass player Lauri Mailasalo, then drummer Mats Lindewvist that December. Singer Vesa Mattila held ties to BODIES and FINAL DAWN. An initial line-up fractured, leaving Raatikainen to handle all guitar work on a 2003 demo. The band then drafted the IMPERANON and NAILDOWN credited Asko Sartanen on second guitar.

A self-funded EP in June 2005, 'On My Side', secured a recording contract with Dies Irae Records for a re-release in December. Another membership change saw Lindewvist replaced by Joni Varon. CODEON guitarist Sami Raatikainen joined German Death Metal band NECROPHAGIST in February 2006.

Vesa Mattila fronts SAATANAN MARIONETIT under the alter ego 'Aargh Satan' and performs bass with BLACK TEMPLE.
