Helsinki Hard Rock outfit founded by formed by guitarists Juri Vuortama and Anssi Nummi in late 1999. The first version of the band would be completed by vocalist / bassist Atro Tossavainen and drummer Samuli Häkkilä. In this formation ALLIANCE demoed in March of 2000, songs from these sessions surfacing as the 'In Control' EP. Unfortunately progress was marred when Nummi opted out to relocate to Canada. A substitute was found in Tomi Tuomi but then Tossavainen exited. With Tuomi's stay proving brief the band regrouped by inducting Tomi Sundström on guitar, bassist Esa Tikkanen and singer Mikko Alpua.

A latter day ALLIANCE line-up credited vocalist Tomi Viiltola, guitarists Juri Vuortama and Tomi Sundström, bass player Esa Tikkanen with Samuli Häkkilä on the drums. This version of the band cut the 2002 single 'Sleep With One Eye Open'.

Guitarist Tomi Sundström scored internet notoriety with a solo project under an original satiristic title of CHILDREN OF BOREDOM. Demos in 2003 included 'Sano Vaan Mix!' issued in March and April's 'Nyt Kyllä Vituttaa' with 'Mitähän Mä Ottaisin' arriving in 2004. In 2005 Sundström changed the title of his project to BOREDOMI. That same year saw the guitarist enrolled into bands KATALA and FE 80'S.
