Biography

Hamina based Gothic Rock outfit SINAMORE signed to the Austrian Napalm label in May 2005. In a previous incarnation billed as HALFLIFE the group had published the 2004 demo 'Follow Into The Cry'. Their debut album, 'A New Day', would be recorded at Woodbine Garden Studios with producer Teemu Aalto in August and emerged in January 2006. The track 'Drama For Two' featured guest growling vocals from Tuomas Saukkonen of BEFORE THE DAWN, TEARGOD, SCYTHE.357, STARFIRE SYNDICATE, ALTTARI, VARJO and DAWN OF SOLACE repute. Also contributing to the album would be pianist Anu Lehtinen and violinist Hanna Nikula.

SINAMORE teamed up with TO/DIE/FOR, DAS SCHEIT and INDIGO CHILD for European tour beginning in November 2006.

The group's second album, 'Seven Sins a Second', was released in November 2007 via Napalm Records. The sessions were recorded at Villvox Studio with Juho Räihä and Aleksanteri Kuosa. SINAMORE parted ways with longstanding guitarist Tommi Muhli in October 2008. The band severed ties with Napalm Records the following January.

Singer Mikko Heikkilä forged a union with Tuomas Saukkonen, of BEFORE THE DAWN, THE FINAL HARVEST and DAWN OF SOLACE, to forge BLACK SUN AEON, debuting with a March 2009 album 'Darkness Walks Besides Me'.
