Biography
Although not a Black Metal act FOREVER WINTER proclaim strong anti-religion sentiments. The band is rooted back to 1994 but issued their first product some three years later as the cassette 'In Metal We Trust', at this juncture comprising a trio of Teemu Haavisto on vocals and drums, Kimmo Liuksiala on vocals and bass with Kai Lehtinen of FAERGHAIL on guitar. This same triumvirate cut a promo session in 1998 and the album 'Revenge'. Bringing onboard the FAERGHAIL duo of guitar player Petri Moisio and Jussi Ranta on lead vocals FOREVER WINTER maintained the momentum with two tape releases in 1999 billed as 'The Dark Minstrels' and 'Let Your Arrows Fly'.
By 2001 Ranta had departed and as a quartet with Haavisto handling lead vocals the band went back into the studio for yet another tape 'Towards The Gates Of Hell'. A 2002 demo featured a cover version of JUDAS PRIEST's 'Breaking The Law'.
