CHEAP AND NASTY, based in the UK, was an outfit put together by ex-HANOI ROCKS and CHERRY BOMBZ guitarist Nasty Suicide (a.k.a. Jan Stenfors), joining the notable Finn would be, amongst others, IGGY POP and UK SUBS associate Alvin Gibbs and ex-CHERRY BOMBZ colleague Timo Caltio. The debut CHEAP AND NASTY album, 'Beautiful Disaster' issued in 1991, was produced by the renowned Chris Kimsey. Issued in the UK by China Records, the album saw release in Japan through Pony Canyon. UK dates to promote the record saw headliners throughout March of that year.

Promoting second outing 'Cool Talk Injection', the quartet successfully toured Japan during the summer of 1994. Suicide subsequently formed DEMOLITION 23 with his former HANOI ROCKS colleague MICHAEL MONROE for an eponymous album. Although having retired from the music business, Suicide did put in a one off gig with the reformed HANOI ROCKS in 2003.
