Helsinki's ACABÓ EL SILENCIO offer a quite novel proposition in Black Metal circles by being based in Finland yet delivering songs in Spanish language inspired by ancient South American mythology. Drummer Teemu Mutka, has association with NERLICH, DEEP RED, AZAGHAL, CARCASE INC. and CADAVERIC INCUBATOR whilst guitarist Kai Hanninen is a member of MUSTAN KUUN LAPSET. The opening formation also included vocalist / bassist Janne Perttilä from CIRCUS OF FLESH, THE SINKAGE, RYTMIHÄIRIÖ, WIND OF PAIN and OHEISVASARA.

Underground Productions released a 7" vinyl 1997 EP '...Y De Tierra Sale Trigo'. For this outing the band took on the pseudonyms vocalist Juan, guitarist Carlos, bassist Jaime and drummer Esteban. The demo 'Mictecaciuarl' arrived in 2000.
