DELIRIUM TREMENS, based in Sönderberg, dated back to a 1992 formation assembled by vocalist Sonny Jørgensen and guitarist Michael Kafton. Under this formative billing the band released three demos, 'House Of Pain' during 1998, 'Have A Smoke' in 1999, featuring a cover version of AC/DC's 'Stand Up', and 'Delirium Tremens' in 2000. In 2003 the group inducted new drummer Troels. This latest recruit left in mid 2005, being replaced by former drummer René. In August 2005 long serving band member Michael Alm exited.

Guitarist Stephan Larsen, under the pseudonym of 'Fargel', played bass in DENIAL OF GOD. DELIRIUM TREMENS switched title to JESTER'S CROWN in 2006.
