Århus "cold and harsh ritualistic" Black Metal band LIVJATAN involves a triumvirate of well known Danish Black Metallers in vocalist / guitarist Diabolos (a.k.a. M. Bisgaard), of APOLLYON, BRANDPEST and GOAT WORSHIP, bassist Sorgh, from APOLLYON, BRANDPEST and DENIAL OF GOD, plus drummer Galheim, citing credentials with AD NOCTUM, DENIAL OF GOD, EXMORTEM and HELLSERMON.

LIVJATAN debuted with a 2004 single 'Witchcraft' published by domestic imprint Ancient Darkness Productions. 333 7" vinyl singles were pressed along with a cassette variant manufactured by Satanic Propaganda Records. Tracks for an album billed 'Infernal Necromancy' were recorded in 2006.
