Biography

Singer Oliver Weers, hailing from Hovedstaden, came to public attention in Denmark by winning the television talent contest 'X-Factor'. Previous to this exposure Weers had fronted RIPE and DIABOLOS IN MUSIKA. His debut album, September 2008's 'Get Ready' produced by SUPERFUZZ guitarist Søren Andersen at Medley Studios, featured session contributions from the esteemed rhythm section of bassist Marco Mendoza, of THIN LIZZY, and drummer Tommy Aldridge, of BLACK OAK ARKANSAS, OZZY OSBOURNE and WHITESNAKE repute. The set featured two cover versions in BJÖRK's 'Army Of Me' and QUEEN's 'The Show Must Go On'.

The OLIVER WEERS band supported WHITESNAKE in Denmark during December 2008 and MÖTLEY CRÜE in Hovedstaden on 10th June 2009.
