Copenhagen, corpsepainted Black Metal act ZAHRIM, established during 1994, recorded a solitary October 1996 demo entitled 'Mashshagarannu'. Frontman Martin Rosendahl is affiliated with EXMORTEM, INIQUITY, CORPUS MORTALE, USIPIAN, STRANGLER and HUMAN MACHINE. Initially The Demigod (Michael Brinkløv) handled studio guitar and bass before session musicians guitarist Lord Cruloz and keyboard player Ynleborgaz, of ANGANTYR, HOLMGANG, MAKE A CHANGE ... KILL YOURSELF and TAAGEFOLKET, became involved as the project rose up once again, bowing in with 2003 demo 'Ultu Muxxischa'. This session would be distributed by Total Holocaust Records and limited to 500 hand numbered copies.

In 2005 Rosendahl fronted SLOW DEATH FACTORY for the 'Music For Tough Guys' demo, a high profile union of Danish extreme Metal elite comprising ILLDISPOSED's Morten Gilsted, CORPUS MORTALE's Roar Christofferson on bass guitar and Per Møller Jensen of INVOCATOR, KONKHRA and THE HAUNTED repute on drums.

Raging Bloodlust Records released the EP 'Ia Zagasthenu' in March 2006.
