UTUK XUL comprises vocalist Inferus Vobyscum "Voices from the shadows", guitarist Fire "Chainsaw of destruction", bassist Gigim Maskin Xul "Sounds of black possession" and drummer Tophel "Drums of satanic war". Founded in 1994 as DIES IRAE this formative outfit issued a solitary demo 'The Law Is For All', limited to 150 copies. Taking on the UTUK XUL title in 1997 the band then released a demo entitled, ironically, 'Dies Irae'. Signing to Colombian label Tribulacion Records their inaugural commercial product would be issued in the form of a split release shared with THY ANTICHRIST, this finally seeing issue in 2002.

The Hell Attacks label then contracted the band for a full length album in 2003, resulting in 'Goat Of The Black Possession'. Subsequently the Dutch From Beyond Productions imprint secured this offering for a European release in February 2005.
