FINAL FRONTIER feature Mladen of VON GROOVE. The band was initially unveiled as a project in union with MORATTI vocalist Rob Moratti entitled CROSSFIRE. Before long this venture became known as M2 and finally, with a 2002 album- FINAL FRONTIER. Guitarist Lawrence Falcomer is a veteran of SONIC X whilst VON GROOVE's Michael Shotton supplies the drums. The band's third album, 'High Tension Wire' issued in 2005, would see release through the Italian Frontiers label.

A 2006 album, 'Freelight' recorded by Rob Moratti, Mladen, Lawrence Falconer and drummer Kevin Howley, would be signed to UK label Escape Music.
