Progressive Metal band DAYS OF YORE, forged by the former WINDS OF WAR frontman Jérome Parent and the ex-DEIMOS quartet of drummer Jacques Bélanger, bassist Bruno Côté along with sibling guitarist Martin and Sylvain Giguère, released the opening demo 'Imperilled Kingdom' capitalised on by the 1997 recording 'The Mad God's Wage'. Both Bélanger and Côté had earlier been members of Death Metal band SARKASM.

In March of 1996 Jacques Bélanger switched roles to that of frontman to join Thrash veterans EXCITER for their comeback album 'The Dark Command'.
