Hard hitting Vancouver, British Columbia act at one time incorporating the renowned Gene Hoglans on drums of DARK ANGEL and STRAPPING YOUNG LAD notoriety. Founded in 1997, JUST CAUSE put in initial live dates featuring Cam Kroetch of THE ALMIGHTY PUNCHDRUNK on second guitar and Stuart Carruthers of GRIP INC. on bass. Subsequently STRAPPING YOUNG LAD's Byron Stroud took over the bass role before THE ALMIGHTY PUNCHDRUNK's Patrick Beaudion stepped in. Membership changes saw the drum stool transferred to Ash Pearson and bass to Chris Mangat, both from of ANGEL GRINDER.

The 1999 album 'Finger It Out', produced by Devin Townsend, sees contributions from Chris Valagao of ZIMMER'S HOLE.
