Calgary Crossover Thrashers BEYOND POSSESSION, fronted by vocalist Ron Hadley, debuted with the 1985 mini album 'Skaters Life'. The band would sign to Metal Blade Records for the follow up, 1986's 'Is Beyond Possession'. The band would fold in 1989.

Both the 1985 'Skaters Life' and Metal Blade 'Is Beyond Possession' album tracks would be assembled with unreleased demos for the 2001 Melodiya release 'Repossessed: 1985-1989'.
