Toronto based Indie Rock act 69 DUSTER are fronted by Dale Martindale, former singer with 80s Pop act IMAGES IN VOGUE. The band, formed by Martindale and HEATER and VIBROLUX guitarist Sean Kelly during 1995, would relocate from Vancouver to Toronto to record their debut album 'Mania'. In parallel, Sean Kelly also fronted the melodic Rock act CRASH KELLY.

Initially the band included bassist Craig McConnell and drummer Chris Lamont but a fresh rhythm section of former WEIRDSTONE drummer Brian Slatter and ex HEATER bassist Jordan Michael Stewart would be inducted as well as second guitarist Jay McBride, also of WEIRDSTONE for the September 2001 'Ride' album.
