Founded in 2000 as THE NOMAD, this unit comprising guitarists Daniel Malk and Everton Lins, bassist Priscilla and drummer Wesley. In 2003 Lins opted out to forge THE UNREAL and Malk took control of vocal duties. That July Priscilla left, being replaced by Rilton and shortly after Everton Lins rejoined as the group also incorporated a third guitarist in Rafael Tadeu. The band switched to DARK INQUISITION in January of 2004.

DARK INQUISITION released the self financed 'Darkside' EP in March 2004, this release including a cover version of SEPULTURA's 'Troops Of Doom'.
