Biography

Kiko Loureiro (a.k.a. Pedro Henrique Loureiro), born 16th June 1972 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, is a guitarist known for his high profile work with bands such as ANGRA, an act he co-founded at age 19, SILENT MOON and BLEZQI ZATZAS. Loureiro released his debut solo album 'No Gravity' in January 2005 through Replica Records. The record, produced by PINK CREAM 69 bassist Dennis Ward, was recorded at House of Audio Studios in Germany during April and May of 2004. Studio guests included RAGE and ARTENSION drummer MIKE TERRANA and ANGRA bassist Felipe Andreoli.

Second solo set, the heavily Jazz and Samba-Fusion orientated, 'Universo Inverso' was delivered in March 2007. For these sessions the guitarist was joined in the studio by pianist  Yaniel Matos, drummer Cuca Teixeira and bass player Carlinhos Noronha.
