Curitiba's DOOMSDAY CEREMONY, a corpsepainted Black-Doom Metal act founded in 2000, issued the 2004 album 'Apocaliptic Celebration'. The band's opening line-up comprised vocalist Guilherme Medina, guitarists Poyoka and Caos, bassist Maikol Kraiss and drummer Cleverson. Subsequently the group incorporated singer Moloch and guitarist Ciriato.

The 'Apocaliptic Celebration' recordings featured INSANE DEVOTION keyboard player Nathaivel. The band evolved into HERMETIC VASTNESS, this act fronted up by former members singer Guilherme Medina and guitarist André Luiz R.
