CAVALERA CONSPIRACY is a project featuring SEPULTURA founding siblings Max Cavalera, on lead vocals and guitar, and Igor Cavalera on drums alongside SOULFLY guitarist Marc Rizzo. In May 2008 the band tapped Johny Chow (a.k.a. John Mark Bechtel), of FIREBALL MINISTRY, SOULS OF WE, SYSTEMATIC and MY RUIN, to play bass on the group's European tour. Joe Duplantier of the French Progressive Death metallers GOJIRA, had laid down all the bass tracks on CAVALERA CONSPIRACY's debut album 'Inflikted' but his GOJIRA commitments prevented him joining the band on the road. INCITE singer Richie Cavalera, stepson of Max Cavelera, also made a guest appearance on the album.

Johny Chow played his first show with CAVALERA CONSPIRACY on May 30th 2008 at the Electric Weekend in Madrid, Spain. CAVALERA CONSPIRACY teamed up with THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN, THROWDOWN, BURY YOUR DEAD and INCITE for a North American tour in July. Australian dates scheduled in September were to see support to JUDAS PRIEST. However, the band withdrew from these shows.

Formed in October 2008, INPSYCHOBLEEDIA was announced as a band project of guitarist Marc Rizzo. The group was rounded out by guitarist Dennis Kimak, bassist Elo Hernandez and drummer Kanky Lora.
