NATIVE INSTINCT feature former CROSSFIRE guitarist Rudi Van de Sijpe. Joining the guitarist in the first incarnation of the band would be bassist Ronald Thienpont of FIRESNAKES and former ANGRY EYE drummer Peter De Waele. Fronting up the band would be SUPERGIZMO's Dominique De Vos.

Frank 'Devious' De Vos of YOSH repute was added as the new frontman in March of 2001. De Waele decamped in early 2002, being replaced by ex-YOSH and BATTALION man "Steve De Koninck" (Stefaan Deceuninck).
