Brussels based INOCCULTA was formed in August 2001 by guitarists Prométheus and Atharioth, bassist Circius and drummer Thorselder (a.k.a. François Chung). With the introduction of singer Spoliatorion in February of 2002 the band released the three track 'Destins Cathares' in 2002. Guitarist Atharioth bowed out in April of 2003 prior to recording the seven song 'Fausseté et Demesure' session. That same year a split demo emerged entitled 'Satan's Children', shared with AMAZARAK and HIEMPERIUM.

INOCCULTA issued a July 2004 demo entitled 'Apocryphe'. Spoliatorion exited in 2005. In December 2006 INOCCULTA introduced Martin Favresse as new vocalist. Guitarist David Detienne also held association with LINT, NERGAL and AKTARUM.
