A dark, atmospheric styled 'Medieval' Metal band with distinct Black elements. DAGORLAD was created in June of 1997, issuing an inaugural demo session 'On the Moonless Nights'. These recordings soon secured a recording deal with the Dutch Two Moons label for a February 1999 album entitled 'Incantations'.

A second demo, 'The Warriors Of The Ancient Battle' surfaced in early 2000 leading onto recording of a second album 'The End Of The Dark Ages'. In 2004 AOD contributed guest vocals to the FINNUGOR album 'Darkness Needs Us'.
