Biography

Antwerp Progressive Metal band 7TH CIRCLE began life billed as HENRY V during 1994. Line-up tribulation saw the exit of drummer Kris Van Meel and the group being put into stasis until 1998, when members regrouped under a revised title of 7TH CIRCLE.

7TH CIRCLE's 2001 album 'Collective Minds' saw the inclusion of noted session drummer Dirk Verbeuren, cousin of guitarist Sam Oerlemans, a man citing credits with SCARVE, SOILWORK, ABORTED, TALIÀNDÖRÖGD, EOSTENEM, NO RETURN, ETERNAL GRAY, ANAON, INFINITED HATE, HEADLINE, LYZANXIA, YYRKOON and PHAZM. Following this release singer Peter Leppens departed. Remaining musicians Sam Oerlemans, bassist Jasper Van Tilburgh and keyboard player Tony Lemmens, drafting new personnel female vocalist Winnie Versmissen, previously of covers band POP FACTORY, and Martial Bonnetain on the drums, cut the 'Image' demo in 2002. The 'Unsummon' session followed in 2003. The band folded in 2005 but still included the track 'Unsummon' on the compilation album 'Kingdom Of Glory - Volume 1' released by Enclave Productions in September 2005.
