A Tyrolese symphonic Metal band formed in January 2001. SERENITY donated their rendition of 'Set The World On Fire' to the 2005 RAGE tribute album 'Back In Time' compiled by Noise Factor Records. SERENITY's debut album, entitled 'Words Untold & Dreams Unlived', came out in April 2007.

SERENITY released the second album, 'Fallen Sanctuary', via Napalm Records in August 2008.

The band opened for 2009 mainland Europe shows with KAMELOT and DELAIN. However, they would be forced to cancel several shows after vocalist Georg Neuhauser came down with influenza. The group supported U.K. Progressive Metal act THRESHOLD on their October / November 2009 European tour.
