Black Death Metal band ANATOMY, hailing from Gladstone Park, Victoria, bowed in with the 1991 'Dark Religion' demo following it up with 1992's session 'Those Whose Eyes Are Black'. ANATOMY's 2000 album 'The Witches Of Duthomir' included their take on POSSESSED's 'The Exorcist'. ANATOMY bassist Jay Saunders also busies himself as a member of Melbourne Thrash Black Metal act SITHLORD.

The band would later enroll the BESTIAL WARLUST and GOSPEL OF THE HORNS credited drummer Markus Hellcunt. A split 7" single shared with fellow Aussies LONG VOYAGE BACK, 'Soulcrusher', arrived through the Bleed Records label in November of 2001.
