INFERNAL METHOD

Biography

Sydney melodic Death Metal band INFERNAL METHOD is the brainchild of former SYPHILIS, AUTOMATION and DEADSPAWN guitarist Peter Michael Peric. The band was formulated by incorporating ex-DEPRESSION vocalist Shane Thompson, another erstwhile DEPRESSION and DEADSPAWN man guitarist Aaron Bilbija, bass player Michael Kordek and drummer Graham Goode. The latter is an experienced player citing credits with AUTOMATION, CRYOGENIC and NEOPHOBIA.

Guitarist Aaron Bilbija quit to join PSI.KORE, and later the highly successful DAYSEND, whilst bass player Michael Kordek too opted out to enroll into DAYSEND as rhythm guitarist. By coincidence ex-PSI.KORE guitarist Andrew Lilley took Bilbija's place and SYPHILIS bassist Lee Glanzmann brought the band back up to strength. The group acquired the services of American Jonah Weingarten on keyboards in January of 2002 but he lasted just one gig. A three song Demo CD comprising the bands initial works was released in May. Shane Thompson was ousted making way for new frontman SHACKLES and SAMSARAS WOUNDS singer Joss Separovic.

Weingarten would unite with the Danish melodic Power Metal band PYRAMAZE, cutting the 'Melancholy Beast' album in 2003. Grahame Goode acted as temporary drummer for Heavy Metal band DUNGEON's June 2004 support gigs to EDGUY. In July INFERNAL METHOD announced they were calling it a day. Weingarten joined US act LILITU in October whilst Pete Peric joined DUNGEON on bass guitar in November. However, as 2005 opened both Peric and Goode broke away from DUNGEON in order to re-forge INFERNAL METHOD. The band supported Swedes INSISION during July and ARCH ENEMY in November.

The band announced they were to flank KILLRAZOR as support to leading Polish Death Metal act VADER's April 2007 Australian dates. However, just previous to these shows the band folded.
