    Biography

Melbourne vocalist LISA BADE debuted in 1980 as backing vocalist on MARK GILLESPIE's 1980 record 'Only Human'. She struck out on her own the following year with a single 'Traveller In The Night', written by Gillespie. LISA BADE's 1982 album witnessed the full arsenal of heavyweight AOR sessioners with TOTO men guitarist STEVE LUKATHER, bassist Mike Porcaro and drummer Jeff Porcaro contributing alongside MICK RONSON, EARL SLICK, Waddy Wachtel and FREHLEY'S COMET bassist John Regan. Bade also benefited from songs donated by BRYAN ADAMS and NILS LOFGREN.

BADE promoted the album by touring as support to THE LITTLE RIVER BAND. A further single 'Walk Away' was released in Australia during 1985 after which the vocalist rejoined THE MARK GILLESPIE BAND. Later years has seen the singer fronting covers act THE LOVE STARS.
