Melbourne Death Metal band KUTABARE was formulated in December 2000, manifested by the UNDINISM and ABOMINATOR credited bassist Steve Culpitt (a.k.a. Steve Undinism / Haruko Yamashita) and UNDINISM guitarist Sean Sevantez. Rounding out the band would be drummer Pete Limspasm and vocalist Damon "Bloodstorm", a scene veteran of CORPSE MOLESTATION, BESTIAL WARLUST and ABOMINATOR. First product would be a ten track demo CD-R in March 2001.

KUTABARE's live inauguration came on 26th January 2002 alongside FUCK...I'M DEAD and VAGINAL CARNAGE at the Arthouse in Melbourne. In February 2003 Culpitt and Sevantez reformed UNDINISM, operating the two bands in parallel.

The KUTABARE album 'Finger Food Fetish For Morbidly Abnormal' was recorded at St.Andrews Studios in Cheltenham, Victoria, Australia over just three days in May 2003. The sessions were mastered by MORTICIAN's Roger Beaujard through Primitive Recordings in Pennsylvania, USA that September.

Drummer Peter 'Limbspasm' Hunt also featured in RAZOR OF OCCAM. Hunt travelled to the UK to join DRAGONHEART, Birmingham's MARSHALL LAW then London's SAVAGE MESSIAH.
