Biography

Blues Rock band formed in 1968 that spawned Hard Rockers BUFFALO. The band was fronted by Englishman Dave Tice. The band relocated from Brisbane to Sydney where, with the addition of second vocalist Alan Milano recruited from MANDALA, they recorded the 1971 single 'Hobo'.

Shortly after Jensen and Jones quit and were replaced with MANDALA guitarist John Baxter and BOOTLEG drummer Paul Balbi.

HEAD adopted a new musical stance and switched titles to BUFFALO going on to issue five albums. Wells would later help create ROSE TATTOO. Baxter formed SOUTHERN CROSS.
