SCHUGAR/SCHENKER is a 2003 collaboration between American singer Amy Schugar and the veteran German guitar hero MICHAEL SCHENKER, known for his dazzling, if erratic, displays of virtuocity in UFO, the SCORPIONS and his own MICHAEL SCHENKER GROUP. The pair cut a demo album entitled 'Under Construction' as their opening shot. Additional guitar on the album came courtesy of the HEAD FIRST and KNIGHT RIOT credited Fred Robinson with erstwhile SURGICAL STEEL bassist Mark Lehman and drummer Matt Indes. All three musicians are also active with MFM.

During the early eighties Amy Schugar had been a member of Phoenix, Arizona outfit MAD RACKET. Schugar and Matt Indes, together with bassist Lynn Townsend, also operated another eighties act entitled SASS. Both Indes and Lehman also cited involvement with ROCK CANDY in union with Ray Gomez on Guitar and Steve Young as lead vocalist. In addition, Lehman and Robinson have performed with former FLEETWOOD MAC star Bob Welch.

2004 found Amy Schugar writing and recording the theme tune for Arizona based wrestler 'Havok'.
