UFO's European tour dates in May 2005 saw THE LIZARDS as support. These shows included a gig at the Pumpwerk in Wilhelmshaven, Germany on 13th May, set to be filmed for a DVD and double live album release entitled 'Showtime'. The band would also re-record a number of classic archive tracks as voted for by fans. Amongst those chosen would be 'Profession Of Violence', 'Cherry', 'Letting Go', 'The Wild, The Willing And The Innocent' and the clear number one, 'Try Me'. Also arriving would be the album 'Alien Relations', compiled by Majestic Rock Records in an attempt to compile a UFO family tree. The album included tracks by PETE WAY, WAYSTED, THE PLOT, PAUL RAYMOND PROJECT, JOHN SLOMAN, SNOWBLIND and ALASKA.

With Pete Way still experiencing visa difficulties, JEFF KOLLMAN, no stranger to the family having worked with both MOGG/WAY and $IGN OF 4, took over bass duties for UFO's 2005 US tour dates supported by THE LIZARDS. The band's appearance at the 12th November 'Piorno Rock' festival in Sala Polyvalente in Granada, Spain proved notable as it saw the re-instatement of Andy Parker on drums. Way struck up yet another new band project in mid 2005 dubbed DAMAGE CONTROL, this being an alliance with former MAGNUM, NOTORIOUS and LIFE guitarist ROBIN GEORGE and drummer Chris Slade, the distinctive bald headed veteran also holding a prior tradition with AC/DC, URIAH HEEP, ASIA, MANFRED MANN, 100 PROOF and THE FIRM. ...
